The Icon Cancer Foundation is the not-for-profit arm of Icon Cancer Care and delivers one of the most comprehensive cancer trial programs in Australia. Clinical trials are one of the proven methods of clinical practice improvement and innovation, and have led to substantial improvements in health outcomes for Australians.
Icon Cancer Foundation has a multifaceted fundraising program that supports cancer research, patient care and wellness, and compassion activities. Cancer research is supported through a variety of initiatives, primarily through conducting oncology and haematology clinical trials that provide patients with access to new and emerging treatments. Through conducting oncology and haematology clinical trials, patients are offered access to new trial therapies, often when other therapies have been exhausted.
Megan Welchman and Chelsea Stutchbury are the first ambassadors for the Icon Cancer Foundation and proudly support and promote the work of the Foundation through their unique patient stories. You can read more about Chelsea and Meg on the ICF website.
